"The Strangest, Most Shocking Sideshow in Times Square!"

From authentic shrunken heads to live sword-swallowing, you’ll be blown away by the bizarre relics and crazy sideshow stunts at Ripleys Believe It Or Not! in Times Square. But remember kids: don’t try this at home! 
  • Known as the “real life Indiana Jones,” Robert Ripley traveled the world for 40 years collecting the oddest, most unbelievable one-of-a-kind relics. Among the exhibits in his odditorium are an albino giraffe, a two-headed calf and the world’s largest collection of shrunken heads, just to name a few.  
  • Not everything in the emporium is a freak of nature: you can also get up close to a section of the Berlin wall and a 3,197-pound meteorite.
  • Check out the large collection of authentic baseball memorabilia, including three seats from the original Yankee Stadium from behind home plate taken in 1923, and 12 uniforms from a WWII charity softball game Robert Ripley hosted in 1939. Among the celebrity team members: Babe Ruth, heavyweight boxing champion Jack Dempsey, actors Jimmy Durante, W.C. Fields and Al Jolson, and newspaper publisher William Randolph Hearst.
  • Watch in awe as professional performers combine magic, comedy and physical feats that will leave you asking “How did they do that?" Some of the world’s most famed sideshow acts like Lizard Man and the Enigma are skilled at swallowing swords, eating razor blades, juggling chainsaws, and smashing cinder blocks in amazing feats of strength. 
  • Try to beat the clock in Ripley’s new Laser Maze, where you race to navigate through a web of lasers without breaking a single beam.  
Plan to spend about an hour and a half to two hours exploring the strange, bizarre and unique items at Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square 

If you don’t want to miss the sideshow, plan your visit around the scheduled performances:
  • Fridays — 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays — every half hour, from 1 p.m. until 6:30pm.
  • Sundays — every half hour, from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.

  • Bring your camera: Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! in Times Square is one attraction where you are encouraged to take as many pictures as you please. 
  • General admission includes the Laser Maze. 
  • Make sure to stop in the gift store, which has the most bizarre collection of souvenirs you will find in New York City. 
  • Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
