"An Exciting Exhibit in New York City You’ll Never See Coming!"
New York City’s landmarks are unmistakable to the naked eye. But what happens when you’re unable to see them? Dialog in the Dark is a groundbreaking exhibit that helps you explore the Big Apple in total darkness at the South Street Seaport. Armed with an authentic walking cane and relying on your senses of touch, taste and sound, you’ll “see” NYC in an exhibit without any lighting. Feel the rumble of a subway car as you head to your favorite hangout. Or listen for the cues to make it through a crosswalk at Times Square unscathed. Even the pleasant and not so pleasant aromas of the city will be there to help you identify your surroundings. Helping you on this odyssey will be visually impaired guides, giving you hints as to what you need to do to find your way drenched in darkness and offer insight into their personal experiences. BestofNewYork.com has tickets to this NY exhibition that will change your perceptions about what it means to be blind or have low vision. Come see New York City without ever “seeing” it at Dialog in the Dark.
